My Student Teacher

Landing page of the My Student Teacher new website

Context

My Student Teacher is a go-to website to get private lessons from talented teachers, with a huge social impact.

The teachers are higher education students (student teachers) whose academic level is checked by My Student Teacher‘s staff through interviews and tests. They build a mentorship with their secondary school students.

Not only will the student teachers receive well-deserved and competitive compensation, but they can also benefit from networking to create career opportunities.

Initially designed with WordPress, My Student Teacher‘s tech team is currently developing a new website from scratch with the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express, React.js and Node.js) to have a fully tailored solution adapted to the needs of My Student Teacher, providing increased flexibility and control. I joined the team to help them reach their goals.
